UK legal tech scale-up joins Canada’s leading legal innovation hub through Innovate UK’s Global Incubator Programme
London, 25 September 2025: Kuberno, the Nasdaq-backed legal entity management scale-up that recently closed a £9.5M Series A co-led by Nasdaq Ventures and Barclays, today announced its selection for the Global Incubator Programme run by Innovate UK in partnership with the Legal Innovation Zone (LIZ) at Toronto Metropolitan University.
The Global Incubator Programme helps UK businesses unlock international growth and gives companies the chance to test, refine, and scale their solutions in new markets. Now in its third year, six selected businesses will take part in a six-month journey designed to accelerate growth, with tailored mentoring, expert workshops, and access to the Legal Innovation Zone (LIZ) network. The cohort will also benefit from two immersive market visits to Toronto, pitching opportunities, and direct introductions to corporates and law firms across the region, helping them build the insight and relationships needed to scale in North America.
Kuberno’s inclusion in the 2025 cohort underlines the company’s rising momentum. Since its Series A, the business has achieved threefold revenue growth, quadrupled its headcount, and launched a US subsidiary in 2024. Together, these milestones demonstrate the company’s readiness to accelerate further in North America.
