Product Updates for Entity Management Software: Grids, Search, and In-App Notifications

Governance teams working across hundreds of entities don’t lose time on big, dramatic failures. They lose it on small, repetitive friction: reapplying a filter, navigating back to search, switching to email to check whether a filing went through. The latest Kube release targets exactly that kind of friction. This update introduces persistent grid filters, platform-wide search, and an in-app notification centre, three changes designed to keep corporate secretaries and legal teams in their workflow instead of working around it.

Persistent filters and grouping in grids

Previously, if you filtered a list of entities or committees and then clicked into a record, your filters reset when you navigated back. You had to reapply them every time. The new grids remember your filters, sorting, and grouping across page navigation. You can also add more filters than before and group records by attributes like registrar, entity type, or jurisdiction. For teams managing large entity portfolios, this makes it significantly easier to work through datasets without losing your place. (For more on how leading teams structure their entity data workflows, see our post on entity management best practices for tech-savvy legal teams.)

Global search from any page

Search in Kube used to require navigating back to the homepage dashboard. If you were deep in a compliance workflow or reviewing an entity record and needed to find something else, you had to leave what you were doing, search, and then find your way back. Now, the search bar is accessible from any page in the platform via the top menu. Click the magnifying glass, type your query, and navigate directly to the result. Combined with KAIA’s AI-powered document search, which lets you find documents by searching inside their content, Kube now offers fast navigation at both the platform and document level.

In-app notification centre

Kube now includes an in-app notification centre as part of the new UI. Filing failures, compliance alerts, and other time-sensitive notifications appear directly within the platform rather than relying solely on email. This means fewer missed alerts and faster response times, particularly for teams managing high volumes of filings across jurisdictions. You can explore the full range of compliance and task management features that work alongside notifications.

Why it matters

These updates share a common thread: they reduce the number of clicks and interruptions between you and the task you’re trying to complete. For corporate secretaries and legal teams handling hundreds of entities, that adds up to meaningful time saved across filing cycles, board preparation, and day-to-day compliance management.

The new UI is being released in increments, so your team can switch to it at your own pace. Users who prefer the current layout can continue with the classic UI while the new experience rolls out.
